In this assignment I want you to work in a team to create a website that teaches a new user about the cloud and how technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes are used. You should use pictures, text, and link to other resources for additional information. The website should have the following web pages:

Questions to Answer and Content to Create:

  1. What is virtualization? What is containerization? How do they compare?
  2. Explain what a data center is and how they relate to the cloud.
  3. Research and compare Kubernetes to Docker. Both are containerization technologies with different strengths and weaknesses.
  4. A tutorial on how to create a docker repository and store an image with your own website stored in it and served using apache.

Submission

Create a readme.md file in your repository and put a link to your website in the readme. The website should be hosted using github pages. Submit a link to the repository to this assignment. You should use bootstrap and practice what you have learned about making web pages.

Hello, I am Julia-Marie Guinto, a sophomore at NJIT studying Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). As I was previously a Chemical Engineering major, I am brand new to the field, but I am very interested to find the connections between people and technology, so I will be learning everything along the way.
